# Set up your venue

> Add your venue and choose the settings used by your menus.

When you first sign in to Mutfaaq, you need to create your venue before building a menu.

  <Step title="Find your venue">
    Search for your venue by name or address. Select the correct result to retrieve its public information from Google.

    If you cannot find it, select **Can’t find your venue? Enter details manually**.

  <Step title="Review the venue details">
    Check the **Venue name**, **Address**, and **Country**. You can also add a short description now or complete it later.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Choose your timezone">
    Select the timezone where the venue is located. Mutfaaq uses it for scheduled availability and promotions.

  <Step title="Choose your currency">
    Select the currency used for the prices on this venue's menus.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Choose your venue language">
    Select the language you will use to write the original menu content and venue description. Mutfaaq uses this content as the source for automatic translations.

  <Step title="Finish the venue creation">
    Review the information, then select **Finish setup**.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Choose three priority languages">
    Select exactly three languages your customers use most. During the trial, these three translations and your source language are available on the public menu.

    Select **Finish setup** to open your dashboard.

<Warning>
  Check the **Country**, **Timezone**, **Currency**, and **Venue language** carefully. These settings are fixed after the venue is created.

## Choosing the right settings

* Choose the timezone of the venue itself, even if you manage it from another country.
* Choose the currency in which you enter and display your menu prices.
* Choose the language in which your team will write the original product names and descriptions.
* Choose the three translation languages most useful to your current customers.
